Reportedly, Vânia Nonnenmacher, the mother of supermodel Gisele Bündchen, passed away at the age of 75 at Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre on Sunday.
Nonnenmacher, a retired banker, was married to Valdir Bündchen, a university professor.
Together, they raised six daughters, including Gisele and her twin sister, Patricia.
The sad news of Vânia Nonnenmacher's passing due to cancer was shared, highlighting her role as Gisele's mother and her profession as a former employee of Banco do Brasil.
A wake for Nonnenmacher will take place at the Metropolitan Crematorium in Porto Alegre's
Ecumenical Chapel on Monday morning, followed by a farewell ceremony.
Gisele has not yet addressed her mother's passing publicly. However, in previous posts, she expressed deep gratitude and love for her mother, commemorating her birthday and celebrating International Women's Day.
