Britney Spears appears to have responded to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake's recent remarks made during a New York City concert on Thursday, January 31. Timberlake declared, "I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f--king nobody."
The 42-year-old "Womanizer" singer took to Instagram the following morning after Timberlake's onstage outburst. She posted, "Someone told me someone was talking sh-t about me on the streets!!! Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I’m not sorry!!!" along with an image of a basketball going through a hoop with broken chains. Fans interpreted this as another indication, considering the former couple's shared love for playing basketball.
Timberlake's comment from the previous night was recorded on video, leading many of Britney's supporters to believe it was a public reaction to allegations she made about him in her 2023 memoir, "The Woman in Me."
Stay tuned for further developments.
